Best Forex VPS Hosting for EAs & Trading Bots: No KYC, DDoS Protection, 5 Server Locations

netwall.host runs trading VPS from $40 a month in the United States and four European countries: Czechia, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Every plan carries DDoS filtering rated up to 200 Gbps, unmetered traffic, a static IPv4 that is yours alone and your choice of Linux or Windows Server, with nothing to add on and no documents to send. That is the most a host can do for a trading setup, and the sections below show you how to check it against your own broker.

The fit is a trader whose broker keeps its trade server in London, New York or continental Europe, running several MetaTrader terminals, expert advisors or bots at once. Some clients come for a second reason: the server stays off their name and bank card. Two cases are a poor match. A setup that must be live within minutes is one, given the deployment times below. The other is a broker whose servers sit in Tokyo, Singapore or Hong Kong, far from every location we have, where no amount of cores or RAM buys back the distance.

What’s included in a trading VPS plan

A netwall.host trading VPS is priced from $40 a month, with locations in Czechia, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and the US; dedicated servers begin at $145. Every plan comes with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution, or Windows Server on request, plus one static IPv4 address per server, unmetered traffic on a port of up to 1 Gbps and DDoS filtering with a rated capacity of 200 Gbps, all inside the plan price rather than as paid options. Signup involves no documents and no KYC check, and billing runs in USDT, Bitcoin or Ethereum. The uptime target across VPS and dedicated servers is 98.9%, most servers are ready within a day, and complex configurations take up to two business days. Support installs and configures MetaTrader with you, and will suggest a country once you send them your broker’s trade server name. This is forex VPS hosting for MT4 and MT5 expert advisors, cTrader, NinjaTrader and crypto bots on exchange APIs.

Start with where your broker’s server sits

Light in optical fibre covers roughly 200 km per millisecond, so every millisecond of round-trip time (RTT, the number your terminal reports as ping) buys about 100 km of cable between the server and the broker. Real routes bend around cities and pass through exchange points, which shrinks that radius further. A quote of “1 ms to your broker” therefore means a server in the same metro area, usually on the same data-centre campus as the broker’s own racks. Faster hardware does not move that number.

Industry sources place most retail FX brokers’ MetaTrader and cTrader trade servers in a few Equinix campuses: LD4 and LD5 in Slough outside London, NY4 in Secaucus, New Jersey, and TY3 in Tokyo. One message to your broker’s support confirms which one serves your account. Futures follow a separate map. NinjaTrader and every other futures front end trading CME products ultimately send orders to CME Globex, whose matching engine runs in a data centre in Aurora, Illinois.

Where the trade server sits Who is usually there Nearest netwall location What to expect
London (LD4/LD5, Slough) Most UK- and EU-regulated FX and CFD brokers UK The shortest route we offer to London brokers; ask support which facility serves the UK plan before ordering
New York (NY4, Secaucus) US-facing and many offshore FX brokers US Close only if your plan runs from an East Coast facility; confirm with support
Aurora, Illinois (CME Globex) Futures traders on NinjaTrader and similar platforms US Depends on the US facility; for sub-millisecond futures execution, a Chicago colocation specialist is the better fit
Amsterdam, Frankfurt or elsewhere in continental Europe EU brokers that host outside London (check with yours) NL, DE, CZ Short intra-European routes; measure before committing
Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong Asia-Pacific brokers None Every netwall location adds long-haul latency; choose a provider in the region

Finding and measuring your broker’s server

    1. Read the trade server name in the MetaTrader login window. Names like “Broker-Live3” say nothing about location, so ask the broker’s support where that server is hosted.
    2. On your home computer, note the ping in the terminal’s status bar, bottom right. That is your baseline.
    3. Once the VPS is up, install the same terminal there and compare. Single-digit milliseconds means the location is right; several dozen means the broker sits in another region.
    4. Before you order, send our support that server name for a location suggestion.

A shorter route removes only the network share of slippage. Fills on a news candle, with spreads widening on the release, also depend on the broker’s execution model and on the liquidity available in that second. On an instant-execution account, a price that moves before the order arrives comes back as a requote, however close the server stands.

How much latency your strategy needs

A scalping EA’s results can turn on a few milliseconds, while a grid EA holding a basket for days mostly needs its terminal to keep running overnight.

Setup What decides results Do you need a third-party VPS?
Scalping and news-trading EAs Milliseconds to the trade server, plus spare CPU during volatility spikes Yes; location matters more than plan size
Swing, grid and basket EAs The terminal staying online through nights and weekends Yes, but any nearby region works; restarts matter more than ping
One EA without DLL calls Continuity only Maybe not: MetaQuotes’ own virtual hosting costs $15 a month
Copying trades between your own accounts Several terminals running side by side Yes; core count and RAM set the limit
Crypto bots on exchange APIs A fixed IP for whitelisting, Linux, steady traffic Yes; Linux is the natural base
TradingView alerts Nothing on your side while alerts fire Not for alerts; yes for whatever receives the webhook and places the order

For many traders, MetaQuotes’ own MQL5 Virtual Hosting is the cheapest answer, from $15 a month, or $12.80 on a yearly term. A virtual terminal gets up to 3 GB of RAM and up to 32 migrated charts, with DLL calls blocked outright and no remote desktop, which rules out manual trading on it. An EA that calls a DLL, or MT4 and MT5 open side by side, needs a full server.

TradingView states that its alerts are created and triggered on its own servers and keep working with the chart closed. An always-on machine is still needed for the part that turns an alert into an order: the bridge or Python bot that receives the webhook.

How much a trading VPS costs, and which plan fits your terminals

Every incoming tick sets an EA’s code running, and per-core speed decides how quickly one busy terminal works through a burst of them. Core count decides how many terminals, bots and strategy-tester runs can work side by side without queueing. Windows Server with its desktop interface needs 2 GB of RAM before the first chart opens, according to Microsoft’s current hardware requirements. That comes off the top of any plan; a Linux image leaves more of it to the terminals.

Plan Cores / RAM / SSD Price Locations Starting point for
    VPS 1 2 / 4 GB / 30 GB $40/mo US One or two MT5 terminals on Linux, or a single bot
VPS 1-2 not listed / 4 GB / 30 GB $45/mo US, UK, NL, DE, CZ The same load with a European location
VPS 2 3 / 8 GB / 40 GB $50/mo US Two or three terminals, or Windows with room to spare
VPS 2-2 8 / 8 GB / 40 GB $60/mo US, UK, NL, DE, CZ Several terminals or bots in parallel; the most cores per dollar in the range
VPS 3 6 / 16 GB / 80 GB $90/mo US, UK, NL, DE Multi-account copying and heavier Windows setups

An EA that recalculates a dozen indicators on every tick can occupy a whole core by itself, so check CPU and memory while a high-impact release such as Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) comes out, not on a quiet afternoon. If the peak runs close to the ceiling, move up a plan before a busier release.

The dedicated range opens with a Xeon E3, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB+ of SSD in the Netherlands or Germany, and tops out at dual Xeon Gold with 512 GB in the UK. That tier is for dozens of terminals or long optimisation runs in the strategy tester, where every core on the machine is yours.

MetaQuotes supports MT5 on Linux through an official Wine-based installer for Ubuntu, Debian, Mint and Fedora. MT4, NinjaTrader and most broker-branded terminals are Windows programs, so ask for Windows Server when you order. The unmetered 1 Gbps port counts for more with bots streaming order books than with a MetaTrader terminal. Current plans and prices are in the tariff selector.

Uptime, DDoS filtering and the reboot problem

The 98.9% uptime target leaves room for maintenance, and section 8.3 of our terms keeps the right to pause a server for it. On any VPS, a frequent cause of missed trades is quieter than an outage: the server restarts, Windows waits at the sign-in screen, and the terminal with its EAs stays closed. A short routine closes that gap:

    • On Windows, enable automatic logon and put the terminal shortcut in the startup folder (shell:startup). Automatic logon keeps the account password on the server, so pair it with the RDP hardening below. On Linux, start the terminal from a systemd unit or a cron @reboot entry.
    • Save the chart profile with the EAs attached, so the terminal reopens every chart as it was.
    • After any restart, check the AutoTrading button (Algo Trading in MT5) and the EA icon on each chart.
    • Keep the MetaTrader app on your phone logged into the same account, where a stopped EA shows up as expected trades that never open.

The filtering in front of every server is the one described on our DDoS protected hosting page, and it stays on between attacks as well as during them. For a trader the target is small and specific: the server’s public IP and its remote desktop port. Filtering is built to absorb floods aimed at the address. Password guessing on an open RDP port is a separate problem, so move RDP off the default port 3389, use a long password, and on Linux log in with SSH keys.

Can you use a VPS with a prop firm or an exchange

Yes, and the conditions come from their rulebooks. That static IPv4 is what a prop firm or an exchange sees once the terminal runs on the server.

FTMO’s FAQ says VPN and VPS use is generally allowed, with one caveat: do not switch your location to the United States when logging into MetaTrader, cTrader or TradingView. FundedNext is stricter. VPS use is not permitted on its accounts of $50,000 and above, and below that level the firm asks for a private VPS with a dedicated IP that nobody else shares. A server you rent alone and log into alone fits FTMO’s rules and FundedNext’s below that $50,000 line; one server shared between friends for their challenges breaks FundedNext’s in writing. These pages change, so reread your firm’s current FAQ before a challenge starts.

On Binance, an API key restricted to whitelisted IPs keeps its spot and margin trading permission, while a key without a whitelist loses it automatically after 30 days. A whitelist only works while the address stays fixed. A home connection’s IP can change overnight; the static IPv4 on your VPS stays the same for as long as you keep the server.

One use we steer every client away from: routing through a VPS in another country to reach a broker, exchange or prediction market that does not serve your own. It breaches their terms, and the usual outcome is a frozen account with the balance still inside.

Where the hosting layer ends and your side begins

Signup without documents and a crypto invoice keep the server clear of your name and of any card statement. Traders who manage accounts for others use that separation, and so do traders who keep their infrastructure apart from their personal identity.

Past the server, the rules belong to somebody else. Any regulated broker, prop firm or centralised exchange verifies you under its own KYC rules, and your trades belong to that verified account wherever the terminal runs. Private hosting hides who rents the server and leaves the trading account exactly as identified as before. Knowing which side of that line a problem sits on is what keeps a trader from buying hosting to fix something hosting never touched. The layers of hosting privacy are covered in more depth on our anonymous web hosting page.

What we won’t host in the trading niche

Pyramid schemes, financial scams, phishing and sites built for fraud are grounds for termination under section 3.3 of our terms of service, whatever plan they run on. In the trading niche that covers HYIP “investment programs”, fake broker front ends, cloned client cabinets and signal groups set up to collect deposits.

    FAQ

Only in name. MetaTrader users search for “forex VPS”, and the same machine runs cTrader, NinjaTrader, crypto bots or a TradingView bridge. What varies from one trader to the next is the location and the operating system.

Yes, as separate installations in separate folders. Each broker’s terminal is its own copy, so four brokers means four installs, and each one takes its share of memory.

Microsoft’s remote desktop app for iOS, Android and macOS connects to a Windows server; an SSH or VNC client does the same for Linux. The MetaTrader mobile app can log into the same trading account while the EA keeps running on the server.

Yes, through panel tickets or Telegram (@netwall_host), including the Windows Server install when you ask for it at order.
